This is SRAM’s lightest Eagle cassette to date, and it is built to last and provide maximum efficiency. The new-gen design is fully machined, with hardened steel X-Dome architecture for gears 4-12 and an ultralightweight, all-aluminum Spider Cog for gears 1-3.

Designed to work in conjunction with the XX Eagle Transmission Derailleur, the cassette and derailleur are engineered as integrated and interdependent transmission components that make direct contact, ensuring perfect alignment on every bike. With a massive 520% gear range, the 52-tooth cog steps down with improved gear progression with 44 and 38-tooth cogs in the low end, outperforming the Eagle drivetrain’s 10-52-tooth cassette. SRAM Eagle Transmission is not compatible with previous-generation Eagle components. However, Eagle Transmission T-Type chainrings are backward compatible with Eagle chains, so they can be used on the current Eagle drivetrains. Non-T-Type Eagle chainrings will not work with Eagle Transmission chains.
