SRAM’s latest innovation, the XX SL Eagle AXS Transmission groupset, sets the new standard for cross-country cycling performance. Designed to meet the needs of the most demanding riders in a lightweight configuration, the XX SL Transmission is the evolution of the XX Eagle AXS, a World Champion, and World Cup-winning system.

The XX SL Eagle Transmission derailleur is even more robust, thanks to SRAM’s hangerless interface, and includes familiar technologies like the overload clutch and AXS pairing process. The XX SL Transmission cassette delivers the best-ever inboard and outboard shifting performance under load, thanks to its X-SYNC design that improves with harder pedaling. It is also the lightest Eagle cassette available.

The XX SL Transmission cranks are still the lightest ISO-certified crankset on the market, optimized for stiffness to deliver championship-level performance. The new XX SL Eagle Transmission (T-Type) direct mount chainring is specifically engineered to work seamlessly with the Eagle Transmission.

The XX SL Eagle Transmission Flattop chain features a unique flat top, maximizing shifting performance and durability while modernizing the look of your bike. The AXS Pod Ultimate controller provides a personalized experience for all AXS controls, with a “click and fire” two-button design that transforms rider inputs into a more intuitive and responsive experience.

XX SL Eagle Crankset

SRAM Eagle Transmission features a SRAM MTB WIDE crank with a 55mm chain line while using the Boost 148mm Over-Locknut Dimension hub standard. Eagle Transmission cassettes move outboard by 2.5mm to optimize for this wider, 55mm chain line. For bikes with SuperBoost 157mm hubs, a 55mm chain line crank can be used. For bikes with a 142mm hub spacing, a 52mm crank must be used.

The SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission AXS Groupset is compatible with the following:

SRAM Eagle Transmission is not compatible with previous-generation Eagle components. However, Eagle Transmission T-Type chainrings are backward compatible with Eagle chains, so they can be used on the current Eagle drivetrains. Non-T-Type Eagle chainrings will not work with Eagle Transmission chains.
